Frequently Asked Questions
flower girl in Your Dream Wedding

The following is a list of commonly asked questions regarding the "Your Dream Wedding" E-Book and general wedding planning. It is by no means a concise list of all questions that I have been asked. It is more a set of questions that people have asked me specifically about my book. In considering "Your Dream Wedding" as a resource, people have expectations. These expectations are represented here to help people better understand the value of the E-Book, and how it will enhance their wedding day. I have tried to anticipate what it is you really want to know before buying this book on Wedding Planning.

Please email me with any other specific questions that you might have.

FAQ's

  • How much should a wedding cost? Does the book keep me in that ballpark?

The national average for wedding costs in the year 2006 is about $15,000.00 to $16,000.00. Every wedding coordinator will argue with me, but it really doesn't matter. This is a good starting point for about 150 guests. Now you can do the math. It's commonly about $100.00 per person. This is a conservative estimate if you have done your homework and spent your money wisely. If you have an unlimited budget, your decisions could easily triple the cost factor, and turn the affair into something more like a $50,000.00 event.

Although the "Your Dream Wedding" E-Book does not guarantee that your wedding will come in within that range, it does help you make fewer unnecessary expenditures. It shows alternate ways to do things and promotes flexible, creative thinking, which will help you accomplish your goals while incurring less in costs. It will also help insure that each dollar that you do spend is going to be worth the investment. Hindsight being golden, most newlyweds could look back and say, "We really didn't need to have that..." and think of things that they could have done without, and things that would have made little or no difference on their wedding day. "Your Dream Wedding" will help you decide in advance just what is most important, so that fewer of these "didn't need to have that..." situations occur. Efficiency is key in any job, and planning a wedding is a real job, often for many working on the same wedding. What the book will do is help make you aware of your wishes and needs, and then help you achieve the results you want as effectively as possible. Each family's budget will be different, and you just might go over budget. But if you do, you will know exactly why, and will be investing for the right reasons.

  • Is buying your book really necessary? Planning a wedding seems like a lot of common sense to me.

If this is your thinking, you are partly right. Yes, common sense is very important, and in confronting each situation and issue, people with common sense may have no problems with any of the things that will come up. In that case, no, this book may not necessary. However, unless you have planned a few weddings yourself, or have an education from somewhere, there is simply no way for you to know everything that is included in the book. The contents of "Your Dream Wedding" cannot be known and understood without some form of experience, even if it is second hand. Even the best of planners, coordinators, and wedding specialists will find something of value in this E-Book. Hence, the way to look at the E-Book as a value to your wedding planning is that the contents will give you the best overview of what to expect and what to consider. It will help you get a general overview of wedding planning, and then you can move onward with confidence, knowing that there isn't much that you will miss. Furthermore, although it won't make all the decisions for you, it will help you figure out how YOU feel about the issues, and assist you in coming to your decisions.

  • Can I really have a dream wedding and save thousands of dollars at the same time?

It would be easy to say a simple "YES!" to this question, make some unbelievable claims, and never have to face you afterwards for a refund (that you probably will not pursue, according to statistics) that was based on me saying that you will save some amazing amount of money while creating and having the grandest event imaginable. But I won't do that in order to sell you a copy of my E-Book. It is my belief that in most cases buyers are lucky to get what they pay for. As a general principle, one cannot get the best quality for the least money. What I can promise you is that you will save money by not overspending in many areas in which you might have. By having a better idea of what things cost and what value they have, you won't pursue trivial things that cost a lot when they won't make enough of a difference on your wedding day to be included. The real issue is that in planning a wedding it is easy to spend many thousands of dollars too much. A few miscalculations and miss-evaluations, and you are there.

Where you will save the most money is in determining your own values regarding what is important to you for your wedding. In this way, you will not focus on all the small accents that are nice, but less important, adding a large percentage of unnecessary costs to your total. The things that you decide are important are going to be worth what you spend, and there is little chance that you will come back to me and say that they were not worth the costs. Certainly, the odds are that you may have a few "didn't need to have that..." items on your list. But if you follow the line of thinking that the E-Book offers, there will be fewer of these to consider when it is all said and done.

The bottom line is, if all goes well, you will get what you paid for. Where "Your Dream Wedding" helps is in determining what you are willing to pay for, and what you are not willing to do without. They are basically the same things. The fine line that is drawn is the determination of what is important and what is not as important. I won't make outrageous claims, but I do guarantee that the E-Book will be worth it, and that you will not be functioning under the premise of falseness, or misrepresented facts. If after you read this E-Book, you believe that the value of the book does not warrant it's cost, I'll happily give you all your money back. Ultimately, the goal of the E-Book is to increase your value per dollar spent on the experience of your wedding day.

  • Do you really give a Money-Back Guarantee?

Yes. My reasoning is that most people who actually read "Your Dream Wedding" will be amazed at the content. The few who do not find value in the E-Book will be VERY few. In advance I will concede that not all readers will agree with everything that I have to say. Most of the content of my E-Book on wedding planning is a series of opinions based on my experiences, and leaves plenty of room for contention if someone is in a mind to argue.

Most people who read "Your Dream Wedding" will get a lot more than the hundred times their investment out of it that I guarantee. Fair consumers who get value seldom ask for their money back just because it is available to them. It is my experience that people are more inclined to pay you a tip if they value their purchase, or give you something, even if just a note of thanks. I also do not believe that the average contented buyer of my E-Book will think it appropriate to give it freely to friends, without paying for a new copy. Certainly there will be some, but I am not concerned. If a family member wants a copy, I say give it to them. It's still all about YOUR wedding.

Where owners of the E-Book will get the most value is not so much in the money saved, but rather in the wealth of knowledge and understanding that is gained, which will indeed save some cash, but more importantly bring ideas, empowerment, and peace of mind. I expect there to be more smiles on faces even before the wedding day, and more walks of confidence based on having a clear understanding of what planning a wedding is all about. It will be difficult to place a monetary value on these things.

  • How else will I benefit from your book?

There are too many things to list. The contents of the E-Book are the equivalent of a wedding planning handbook. These subjects may have been written about with more words or details, but few compositions will cover more subjects with as much clarity as this one. It is created to be unbiased and comprehensive, without filling you full of attitudes and closed thoughts. "Your Dream Wedding" is an E-Book that will educate, encourage, and empower you. Each reader will take away his or her own gains from its contents, and undoubtedly benefit from the new knowledge.

The additional benefit to all who buy the E-Book is that I will answer, as part of the sale and subscription that is included in its purchase, all emails from buying customers who have questions beyond the scope of the E-Book itself. One reason for this is that I learn so much from people working through their own unique situations. Someday all the new ideas and concepts will be the content for a new book, and we will add to our knowledge base. So feel free to email me with your questions if the book does not cover information that answers them. We will find the best answers available, and get right back to you.
